Risingbd Desk: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, “Demonstration was made demanding reformation of quota system. I have accepted it. It has been cancelled as it is not necessary now. There is nothing more to say in this regard.”
In reply to a query, the Premier on Wednesday said this at a press conference at her official residence Gono Bhaban in the capital about the outcomes of her just-concluded visits to Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom (UK) and Australia.
She said, “All the developments in the country was made after we (Awami League) had come to the power. Even then, demonstrators demanded that they do not want quota. I have also accepted it. What is the matter to say more about it?”
