Quota reform demonstrations: 7 injured admitted to DMCH

Staff Correspondent: Some seven quota reform demonstrations, who received injury during a clash in front of the central library on the Dhaka University campus, admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).

The injured are - Nurul Haque Nur, joint convener of Bangladesh Sadharan Chhatra Adhikar Sangrakkhan Parishad, Abdullah of Mohsin Hall, Ata Ullah of S M Hall, Shahed of Bangabandhu Hall, Saddam Hossain of Surja Sen Hall, Masud and Haydar of Dhaka College.

Quota protesters and some witnesses alleged that some BCL activists suddenly swooped on the quota protesters when they were scheduled to hold their scheduled press conference to announce their fresh programme in front of the library.

Dhaka Medical College Hospital sources said injured Ata Ullah and Saddam Hossain were admitted to ward number 101.
