Staff Correspondent: A Dhaka court has rejected the bail petition of Sakhawat Hossain alias Roni alias Ratul, joint convener of Bangladesh General Students’ Rights Protection Council, in a case.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Kazi Kamrul Islam on Thursday passed the order.
Sakhawat’s lawyer Jayedur Rahman confirmed the matter.
On August 6, a team of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested Sakhawat from Joydevpur area in Gazipur.
