Rain forces abandonment of St. Lucia Stars /St. Kitts match

Sports Desk: The match between St. Lucia Stars and St. Kitts of the Caribbean Premier League 2018 was declared abandoned due to heavy rain.

The game was scheduled to start at 4:00am (Bangladesh time). But, the match officials decided to announce the abandonment after waiting long to cease the rain and dry the outfield but the even incessant hard work from the groundsmen could not prepare the outfield on time for field action.

The Barbados Tridents and Guyana Amazon Warriors are waiting to lock horns for the 22nd match of the CPL 2018.

So far in the tournament, Jamaica Tallawahs are leading the point table with 10 points registering five wins in 8 matches they played.
