Rangamati-Chittagong road link resumes

Staff Correspondent, Chittagong: Road communication between Chittagong and Rangamati has resumed on Monday after a series of landslides in the hilly area.

Earlier the authority opened the road communication only for light vehicles. But, from now the link is opened for plying of heavy transport.

Amdad Hossain, an executive engineer of Roads and Highways Division, said the road communication between Rangamati and Chittagong resumed for heavy transports from Monday.

However, the over loaded heavy transports have to move carefully for the sake of safety, he added.
