Rangpur City polls to be held neutrally: CEC

Staff Correspnodent, Narayanganj: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda said the upcoming  Rangpur City Corporation (RCC) polls would be held in free, fair and neutral manners like as Narayanganj and Comilla city corporations.

He said, "We hope the polls would be competitive."

CEC came up with the statement while replying to a query after distribution of smart NID programme at Narayanganj City Corporation area on Sunday noon.

CEC said, "Smart NID will be provided to at least 9 crore and 40 thousand people within the upcoming December across the country."
