Relatives at jail to meet Khaleda

Staff Correspondent: Relatives of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia have reached the old Dhaka central jail to meet her.

Four members of her family reached the main gate of the central jail by a car around 3:00pm on Friday.

It has been learnt that mother-in-law of Tareque Rahman, eldest son of Khaleda Zia, was also among others.

A central jail official said, "Relatives can meet Khaleda as per jail code. Steps are being taken in this regard."

The Special Court-5 in Dhaka sentenced BNP Chief Khaleda Zia to five years imprisonment in Zia Charitable Trust graft case on Thursday.
