Robber killed in Sundarbans ‘shootout’

Bagerhat Correspondent: A robber was killed in a shootout with Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) reportedly in early hours of Tuesday in the Sundarbans.
The gunfight took in a char area (landmass emerged in river basin) of the Baleshwar river.
The deceased was identified as Md Rafiqul Rana, 37, member Noya Bahini.
RAB also recovered one gun, two one-shutter guns and several local weapons from the spot.
