Cox's Bazar Correspondent: At least ten bodies of Rohingya people have been recovered after a boat carrying them from Myanmar capsized in the Bay in Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar early Monday.
Coast Guard Shah Porir Dwip Station Commander Lieutenant Jafar Imam Sajib said the boat capsized near Shah Porir Dwip around 8:00am while it was coming from Myanmar carrying 65 Rohingyas, forcibly displaced Muslim minority from Rakhine.
So far, 21 Rohingyas have been rescued alive and many others remained still missing in this connection, he said.
Four women and six children were among the dead, he added.
