Rohingya issue: Myanmar delegation comes in October

Secretariat Correspondent: Foreign Minister Abul Hasan Mahmud Ali has said that a delegation of joint working group from Myanmar will come in Dhaka in October.
The minister said this at a press conference held in the Foreign Ministry on Thursday.
The minister said that the Myanmar delegation will visit Rohingya camps for the first time. We hope that it can play an important role in resolving the crisis.
After 25 August last year, more than 700,000 Rohingyas fled to Bangladesh from Rakhine due to ethnic cleansing of the Myanmar army and took shelter in Bangladesh. The number of Rohingyas in Bangladesh is more than 1.1 million.
Meanwhile, the International Criminal Court (ICC) has started a preliminary investigation into allegations of crimes against Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar.
