Rohingya man shot during clash at Ukhiya

Cox's Bazar Correspondent: A Rohingya man was shot as two groups locked into a fierce clash in Ukhiya camp of Cox's Bazar on Friday night.

The victim is identified as Yusuf, 43, son of the late Sultan Amin, a Rohigya man from Tanzima Ghona B-Block in Palangkhali union.

Abul Khayer, Officer-in-Charge of Ukhiya police station said, some 5/6 Rohingya men of the camp attacked the victim around 10:00pm, leaving him injured. On information, police rushed to the spot and sent the victim to adjacent Red Crescent Hospital.

On the other hand, locals caught a Rohingya man named Mohammad Alam, 24 when he tried to attack Balukhali Rohingya camp on Friday night.
