SRK, Rajkumar Hirani team up for mega project

Entertainment Desk: The man behind the success of Bollywood movies — ‘3 Idiots’,’ Munna Bhai MBBS’, ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’ and untitled Sanjay Dutt biopic (which already has got its share of buzz), Rajkumar Hirani is likely to team up with the Baadshah of the industry, Shah Rukh Khan.

SRK was last seen opposite Anushka Sharma in Imtiaz Ali directed ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’. The famous director and producer, early last year, had expressed his desire to work with the superstar.

During the promotions of his production ‘Saala Khadoos’, Hirani had expressed his desire to work with Shah Rukh Khan. However, no comment was courted by the superstar that time, reports for the two coming together has surfaced now.

Rajkumar Hirani is currently occupied with his recent untitled project on Sanjay Dutt’s biopic, which stars Ranbir Kapoor in the main lead. Reports suggest that the Producer-Director is expected to take forward a new venture with Shah Rukh Khan, after he wraps up the biopic.

The fans of both, actor and director, are going crazy after the news surfaced as this will be the first time that Hirani and khan will be coming together. However, more details are yet to be revealed in this regard.

Apart from the SRKians, Rajkumar Hirani had said that it is his wish that is coming true.

Shah Rukh Khan, who is among the world’s top influential people list, was approached twice by the director, but was turned down subsequently. Hirani had approached Shah Rukh Khan for ‘3 idiots’ and ‘Munna Bhai MBBS’.

Currently, Shah Rukh Khan is shooting for director Aanand L Rai next project which also starts Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in main leads.

The untitled project with Aanand L Rai is one of the most anticipated movies of 2018, as it promises to show a never seen side of actor Shah Rukh Khan. Reports claim that the actor will be playing a dwarf in the movie.
