Entertainment Desk: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is one doting father. The 51-year-old Raees actor simply adores his three kids – teens Aryan and Suhana and little AbRam Khan.

So when we came across this really daring statement about his children from King Khan, it made our jaws drop. In an article by Filmfare online, quoting another magazine without giving the name, Shah Rukh Khan has actually said that he will “behead his sons”!

But hold on! When we came to know the reason why Shah Rukh Khan made such a remark about his sons Aryan and AbRam, it made us salute the Bollywood superstar – not that we want him to be violent, but just that he is that strict with his kids. So what is this about?

SRK made the remark in connection with the rising cases of molestation and sexual abuse in India; he warned that if his sons were to ever hurt a woman, he would behead them! The actor has taken a firm stand on raising our sons the right way rather than giving a ‘dos and don’ts’ list to the daughters. Shah Rukh Khan’s advice for Aryan and AbRam has come at a right time when the country is struggling to be a better and safe society for women. The Raees actor has also strongly condemned the barbaric Bengaluru mass molestation on New Year’s Eve 2016 that left the country in a state of shock.

Shah Rukh Khan shared a great piece of advice for his sons – 19-year-old Aryan Khan and 3-year-old AbRam Khan. The actor was quoted by Filmfare as saying, “I tell Aryan and even AbRam (to) never hurt a woman. If you do, I’ll behead you. And no, times have not changed, a girl is not your chaddi-buddy; show some respect!” Yes, parents need to teach their sons to respect women and only then can we expect the society to change.

Our self-claimed feminist, Shah Rukh Khan never fails to honour and acknowledge woman power. The man who is addressed as the King of Romance in Bollywood is also a person who completely believes in respecting women and says so.

Time and again, the charming and intellectual star has been a great role model for youngsters. Shah Rukh preaches what he also practices in real life. The man with his startling yet path-breaking advice related to his darling sons makes us respect Shah Rukh even more.

It is high time, Indian parents inculcate the right values in their sons and not raise potential monsters who can disrobe a female’s honour! We as a society have to change and this statement from Shah Rukh Khan is a big step in the right direction – although the beheading threat is a bit violent. What do you think?
