Secretariat Correspondent: The results of this year's Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations are expected to be published on May 6 across the country simultaneously.
Dhaka Education Board controller Swapan Kumar Sarkar said that proposal has been sent to the ministry fixing a possible date for publishing results within May 3 to 7.
The result will be published when the government chief will give consent, he added.
However, a high official of the education ministry said that the result will be announced on May 6 as May 4 and May 5 are holidays.
A total of 20,31,889 students, including 10,23,212 boys and 10,08,687 girls, participated this year's SSC examinations. The examinations started on February 1 and ended on March 4.
