Sarishabari mayor admitted to DMCH

Staff Correspondent: Mayor of Sarishabari in Jamalpur, Mohammad Rukunuzzaman, was admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Thursday after being rescued from Sreemangal in Moulvibazar.

Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police outpost Sub-Inspector Bachchu Mia said the mayor Mohammad Rukunuzzaman was admitted to the hospital around 8:00am.

Earlier, Rukunuzzaman was taken to the police's Detective Branch on Minto Road after being brought from Moulvibazar. He went missing from Uttara in the capital on Monday morning.

He was rescued, exhausted, in front of Kalighat union parishad of Sreemangal upazila in Moulvibazar.
