Saudi Arabia sends 94 tons reliefs for Rohingyas

Staff Correspondent, Chittagong: Saudi Arabia for the first time has sent nearly 94 tons of relief materials for Rohingyas who fled to Bangladesh from Myanmar.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Chittagong Zillur Rahman Chowdhury received the relief materials from the official of Saudi Royal Embassy to Bangladesh Amir Oman Selim Omar on Friday.
A Saudi aircraft carrying 93.81 tons of relief goods for the Myanmar refugees landed at Chittagong Shah Amanat International Airport in the wee hours of Friday, according to Addional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Mashukur Rahman.
