Schoolboy dies under truck wheels in Sirajganj

Sirajganj Correspondent: A schoolboy lost his life under a truck reportedly driven by a helper in Sirajganj on Monday noon.

The victim -- Maruf Hossain, son of Shahadat Hossain -- was a third-grader of Pagla Boaila Government Primary School in Ullapara upazila, said police.

According to locals, the accident happened on the school premises near Dhaka-Pabna highway minutes after Ariful Islam, the helper, started driving.

Dewan Kawshik Ahmed, officer-in-charge of Ullapara Police Station, said police seized the truck.
