Staff Correspondent: The law enforcers have cordoned off two houses in Akbar Shah area of the port city Chittagong on Monday noon.
Sources said that acting on a tip off, police forces have surrounded the area and taking preparation to start an anti-militant drive there.
Chittagong Additional Deputy Commissioner (West) Nazmul Hasan confirmed the matter to risingbd.com.
Over hundred members of police force, SWAT team and bomb disposal unit took position in the area around 4:15pm.
