BNP vice chairman Selima Rahman
Staff Correspondent: BNP vice chairman Selima Rahman has surrendered to two courts in Dhaka in 23 cases filed against her with different police stations in the capital on the charge of sabotage.
The BNP vice chairman first surrendered to the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate and later to Metropolitan Sessions Judges Court on Monday morning.
Selima filed a bail petition after surrendering to both the courts.
A bail hearing may be held in this regard today.
The cases were filed against Selima during the anti-government agitation by BNP-led 20-party alliance on the charge of sabotage. Arrest warrant was also issued against her in several cases.
