Send workers on leave gradually: Home Minister

Secretariat Correspondent: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal urged owners of garment factories to send workers on leave from August 28 gradually to avoid sufferings on the highways ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.

The Minister came up with the urge while speaking at a function at the ministry conference room in Bangladesh Secretariat on Sunday noon.

He said, "All security measures have been taken on the occasion of Eidl. Police will be alert to avoid traffic congestion on highways."

Inspector General of Police (IGP) AKM Shahidul Haque, DMP Commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia, among others, were present at the function.
