Senior AL leader Nurul Alam Chowdhury dies

Staff Correspondent: Former lawmaker also president of North District Awami League unit of Chattogram, Nurul Alam Chowdhury passed away early Sunday.
He was 72.
The senior AL leader was admitted to a private hospital in the port city on Saturday night as he fell sick. He breathed his last this morning.

Nurul Alam, the founding president of Chhatra League of Chittagong University unit, was elected MP in the parliament of Bangabandhu at the age of 27. He was elected as MP from Chattogram-2 Fatikchhari in 1973.
