Seven-Kg gold seized at Shahjalal Airport

Staff Correspondent: Customs intelligence personnel seized 60 gold bars weighing seven kilograms from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Sunday.
Tipped-off, a preventive team of customs officials launched a drive and recovered the gold bars from a seat of an aircraft of Thai Airways in an abandon condition.
Customs Intelligence Director General (DG) Dr Moinul Khan confirmed the matter to risingbd.com.
The estimated value of the seized gold is Taka 3.45 crore, he added.
