Sexual harassment: DU teacher suspended

Staff Correspondent: Dhaka University (DU) Authority has permanently suspended one of its teachers over sexual harassment.

 
The teacher was known as Imran Hossain, Associate Professor of Political Science Department.

The decision was taken in a syndicate meeting of the university on Tuesday, confirmed syndicate member Professor Farid Uddin Ahmed.
 
He said, "Associate Professor Imran Hossain was sent on mandatory leave after an allegation of sexual harassment was raised against him. He was now permanently suspended as the allegation was proved in investigation.
