Shakib leaves hospital

Sports Desk: Ace all-rounder Shakib Al-Hasan has left hospital after successfully undergoing surgery on his left little finger.
Shakib underwent an immediate finger surgery at Apollo hospital in the capital on Thursday. Later, he was kept under observation for 72 hours.
He got release from the hospital on Sunday, according to a press statement issued the hospital authorities.
Shakib, who was struggling with his finger injury for quite a long time, failed to play the virtual semi-final match against Pakistan on Wednesday and immediately returned home.
However, his condition got worsened by the time he returned home and he was taken to the hospital, where doctors performed an immediate surgery on his left little finger. 60-70 cm infected pus was released from his finger.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Hassan Papon, ODI skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza and all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz visited Shakib at the hospital on Sunday.
The all-rounder will have to undergo another surgery after recovering from the current situation. For this, he needs two to three weeks. After the second surgery, Shakib needs another eight weeks to recover. So, he could not play for almost three months.
