Sheikh Fazle Fahim new president of FBCCI

Economic Correspondent: Sheikh Fazle Fahim has been elected uncontested as the president of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), country’s apex business body for the next 2019-21 term.

Professor Ali Ashraf MP, Chairman of the FBCCI Election Board, officially announced the election result at Federation building in capital’s Motijheel on Monday.

Meanwhile, PM's advisor on private enterprises and former FBCCI president Salman F Rahman and others attended the function.

Sheikh Fazle Fahim has become the 22nd president of the umbrella trade body of Bangladesh.

Besides, Md Muntakim Ashraf has been elected senior vice president. Hasina Newaz, Md Rezaul Karim Reznu, Dilip Kumar Agarwala have been elected vice president.
