Sheikh Hasina submits nomination paper for Gopalganj-3

Gopalganj Correspondent: Leaders and activists of Awami League have submitted the nomination paper of their party chief Sheikh Hasina, on behalf of her from Gopalganj-3 constituency.

The party leaders led by Tungipara Central Awami League advisory committee member Kazi Akram Uddin Ahmed, central AL religious affairs secretary Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah, Sheikh Kabir Hossain paid tribute to the father of the nation visiting the grave around 10:00am.

Later, the leaders submitted the nomination paper to the Returning officer and Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Nakib Hossain Tarafder of Tungipara, around 11:00am Tuesday. 

Meanwhile, district Awami League president Chowdhury Emdadul Haque, general secretary Mahbub Ali Khan, Sheikh Fazlur Rahman Maruf, Tungipara upazila Awami League president Abdul Halim and others were present there.
