Sheikh Hasina to visit flood-hit Sunamganj April 30

Desk Report: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to visit flood-affected haor areas of Sunamganj on April 30.

"Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina would visit flashflood-hit haor areas of northeastern district of Sunamganj on April 30 to see for herself the flood situation there," PM's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim said.

Flashflood triggered by heavy rainfall and the onrush of water from the upstream have submerged all haors of the district, damaging huge Boro crops.
