Six taken to isolation unit in Noakhali

Six members of two families of Sonaimuri upazila of Noakhali have been taken to the isolation unit on suspicion of being coronavirus infected.

Six people, including three children, were admitted to the isolation ward of Sonaimuri Upazila Health Complex on Tuesday night as they were suffering from cold and fever.
The age of the three children are eight months, two and a half years and thirteen years respectively.

On Wednesday morning, Tina Pal, UNO of Sonaimuri Upazila, locked down the houses of two families.

Sonaimuri Upazila Health Officer Dr. Mainul Islam said six people, including three children, were taken to the hospital on Tuesday night. They were suffering from cold and fever. At present, the condition of three people is better, but the condition of three children is not good.

He also informed that they came into contact with two Dubai expatriates.
