Smartphone,Tab Expo fair to begin on Thursday

Staff Correspondent: The Techshohor Smartphone and Tab Expo(STE)- 2018 is set to be hit the town again with the view to bring opportunities to the gadget lovers to experience and get the latest editions of smartphone and tablet computer brands.

The STE is the largest events of show casing of the smart gadgets in the country which is organised for ninth times by the event management firm Expo Maker. The organizers shared detail information about the event at a ‘press meet’ at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the capital on Tuesday.

Among others, Samsung Mobile Bangladesh Head of Marketing Tahasina Rafa, Transsion Bangladesh Head of Retail Management Saifur Rahman Khan, Xiaomi Bangladesh Head of Business Mohammed Alamgir Chowdhry, We Smart Solution Deputy General Manager, Head of Brand & Communication Muntasir Ahmed, Huawei Technologies (Bangladesh) Ltd. PR Manager Suman Kumar Saha, LG Mobile’s Bangladesh distributor MetroCem Technologies Limited Manager Corporate Sales MD. Wasi Uddin, Oppo Bangladesh Public Relations Manager & Marketing Manager Ahmed Iftekhar Sunny, Edison Group Marketing Manager SM Shahriyar Huda and Expo Maker’s Strategic Planner Muhammad Khan were present on the media briefing.

They informed that world’s renowned and Bangladeshi smartphone and tablet brands will be available in the three-day fair.

Meanwhile, mobile brands-Samsung, Tecno, Xiaomi, We Mobile,  Huawei, LG Mobile, Oppo, Symphony, LAVA, Nokia, Leveno, Asus Zenfone, WinMax, Micromax, DCL, DTEL and other partners–Adata, Kiksha dotcom, Ajker Deal, Bijoy Digital have already confirmed participation.

Post, Telecommunication and Information Technology Minister Mustafa Jabbar is scheduled to present the inaugural session of the three-day expo as chief guest on Thursday afternoon, however, expo arena will be opened for all on morning on that day 10 AM). ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak will present as special guest on the occasion.

Expo Maker Strategic Planner Muhammad Khan said, “The participant companies will offer special price cut and gift items during the fair. The visitors will be able to pick smart devices from a variety of brands under one roof. There will be some other special arrangements as well for visitors.”

Samsung and Tecno are platinum sponsors, Xiaomi and WE Mobile are gold sponsors while internet-based tech news producer Techshohor dotcom goes tile of the expo for this edition.

Huawei, LG Smartphone, Oppo and Symphony have joined as silver sponsors; overseas education consulting firm EduMaker is partner and while kiksha.com become ticket booth sponsor.
