Soma's sister Sumona confesses link to militancy

Staff Correspondent: Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU) of Police arrested Asmaul Husna Sumona, 22, sister of Bangladeshi student Momena Soma who was arrested in Australia for her alleged involvement militant activities.
Sumona was arrested from the capital's Kaziparha of Mirpur area over the incident of attack on a police man.
On February 9, Australia police arrested Sumona's sister Soma over stabbing a man in sleeping in Melbourne.
It was an activity of militancy, police claimed.
It was learnt that a team of Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU) contacted to Soma's family lived in Kaziparha for interrogation over the Australia incident on Monday night.
At one stage of interrogation, Soma's younger sister Sumona attacked on a team member with a knife, leaving him injured. Later, police held Sumona.
Law enforcers also seized a knife, a laptop and two mobile phones searching there.
Sumona, later, confessed her link to the banned outfit of JMB.
Masudur Rahman, deputy commissioner (DC) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), confirmed the news.
