‘Son’ kills father in Tangail

Staff Correspondent, Tangail: A sexagenarian man was hacked to death allegedly by his son in Bhabkhanda village under Mirzapur upazila of the district on Thursday noon.
The deceased was identified as Fatik Mia, 60.
Sub-Inspector Moniruzzaman Munshi of Mirzapur police station said that Miroz Mia, an addicted son of the victim attacked him with a lethal weapon following family fued, leaving him dead on the spot.
Later, police detained Firoz from the spot.
