Soumya hits ton against Legends of Rupganj

Sports Correspondent, from BKSP, Savar: Abahani Limited’s Soumya Sarkar hit a dashing century against Legends of Rupganj in Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League at Savar on Sunday. 

Removing the lack of confidence, the ton showed the real of Soumya Sarkar again. In last 11 matches of the league, he could not score any mentionable score. But, Soumya scored 106 runs hitting 15 boundaries and two over boundaries.



He played only 79 balls to hit the century. Soumya opened his score card hitting a boundary against the ball of Rupganj spinner Nabil Samad and gradually bagged fifty at the 39th ball. He touched magical figure of century at 22th over. Mominul Haque had finally Soumya Sarkar caught behind for 106.
