Special prayers for Chawkbazar fire victims

Secretariat Correspondent: State Minister for Religious Affairs Sheikh Md Abdullah urged the imams to hold a special prayer after the Jumma in all the mosques of the country on Friday for the salvation of the departed souls of Chawkbazar fire. 

In a press release, the state minister requested this on Wednesday night.

At least 67 people were confirmed dead in a devastating fire that broke out at a chemical warehouse and other adjacent buildings in the city's Chawkbazar area on Wednesday night.
