'Steps to be taken against N'ganj gun-toting people'

Staff Correspondent, Narayanganj: Superintendent of Police (SP) in Narayanganj Mainul Haque said steps will be taken against people who showed arms and used in Narayanganj clash.

He said, "Actions will be taken after identifying those involved in the incident whether the arms were illegal or illegal."

The district SP told this to the reporters at his office on Thursday noon.

"No case has yet been filed over the incident from any side," the SP said.

On Tuesday, supporters of Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC) mayor Selina Hayat Ivy and local MP Shamim Oslam locked into a fierce clash over allowing hawkers on the city's footpath, leaving Ivy and a journalist among more than hundred of both side injured.
