Stern action if doctors avoid patients: Health Minister

Health Minister Zahid Maleque has warned the country’s physicians if patients are neglected.

He said, “We are getting reports that many doctors have kept their private clinics and chambers closed with the excuse of lack of security. They should not retreat from health services in this crisis moment. Start seeing patients as before. Otherwise, we must move for stern actions.”

The Minister came up with the warning on an online press conference on Friday.

Alleging over false published by media, Health Minister said, “You should publish positive news and what Health Directorate and Prime Minister say.”
