‘Stern action if violence created centring polls’

Staff Correspondent: Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia said attempts to create violence and anarchy in the country centring national parliament election will be thwarted at any cost. Police members are ready to foil any untoward incident.

The DMP boss came up with comment while speaking at an anti-drug rally in the capital on Saturday morning.

Asaduzzaman said, “No one will be given any chance to create anarchy like the incidents that took place in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. Stern action will be taken against the people if they are found attempting to create violence and anarchy ahead of the general election.”
