Stop collecting agro-loan in haor regions: BB

Economic Correspondent: Bangladesh Bank (BB) has issued directives to the banks to stop collecting agricultural loan in flood affected haor regions until the situation develops.

Alongside, BB also asked the bank authorities to reschedule the loans through easy installment once the situation develops.

BB issued a notification signed by Manoj Kanti Bairagi, general manager of Agricultural Loan Department,   in this regard on Monday.
