Sub-Editors Council polls today

Staff Correspondent: The election to Dhaka Sub-Editor Council Elections is going to start this noon.

Annual General Meeting of the journalist organization will be held at National Press Club auditorium on Thursday morning. Later, the election will be started at 1:00pm.

Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud will join the function as a chief guest while member of the parliament also former national press club president Muhammad Shafikur Rahman and member of the parliament Md Shahid Islam Papul will be attended.

Dhaka Sub Editors' Council, an organisation of professional sub editors of the daily newspapers, television and other media organizations in the country, was formed in 2000.
