Subarna Mustafa turns 61

The 61st birthday of Ekushey Padak winning actress Suborna Mustafa, a popular name in the country’s acting industry, is being celebrated today (December 2).

She has been recently nominated for Best Supporting Actor (female) at the Bangladesh National Film Awards for 2017 for the film ‘Gohin Baluchor’, directed by Badrul Anam Saud.

Earlier, the seasoned actress was nominated in the same category for her first commercial film ‘Notun Bou’ (1983) but refused to accept the award as she played a titular role in the film.
DhakaLive has news that this time the actress confirmed that she is going to receive the award from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on December 8. 

About her birthday, the actress said, “According to me every day is the same day for me where every work is as important as the next one. But still, as it is my birthday, my routine work has got nothing important to do.

The people who are close to me, celebrate the day which I always like the most. I seek blessings from everyone on this day”.

Suborna Mustafa started her career at a very young age. Her first movie was ‘Ghuddi’ and then seen in many commercial films.
