Tamim at career best ODI ranking

Sports Desk: Bangladesh opener Tamim Iqbal jumped four places to his career-best position in the latest ICC ODI ranking.

As per the latest ranking update, Tamim reached 13th position in the batsmen's list following his series-winning back to back centuries against West Indies.

He became player of the matches he hit centuries, also secured the title of man of the series with his outstanding performance.

Tamim bagged 287 runs, winning the series 2-1 on Saturday night. He also achieved fame of double centuries in an away series as the first Bangladeshi batsman.

All-rounder Shakib Al-Hasan, who scored 190 runs with two half-centuries in the series, jumped three places to clinch 26th spot in the ranking.

Another batsman Mahmudullah Riyad rose to 38th spot, jumping four places in the ODI ranking.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli is on the top of the ICC ODI ranking.
