Tangail 'gunfight' kills 1

Staff Correspondent, Tangail: An accused drug dealer also former union parishad member was killed in a gunfight between two groups of drug traders in Jalsatra Magontinagar area under Madhupur upazila of the district early Friday.
The deceased was identified as Masud Rana Farid, 42.
Tangail Additional police super Ahaduzzamand Mia said that two groups of drug trader locked into a dispute centering drug trading. At one stage, they opened fire on each others.
Later, on information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the bullet hit body of Farid.
