Taposh Roy receives 'Kali O Kolom Award'

Desk Report: The prestigious ‘Kali O Kolom Award' (Young Poets and Writers Awards) for the year 2017 has been awarded.
This year, Taposh Roy got the award for his book titled 'Ei Besh Atonke Asi' while Poet Hossane Ara Jahan for the poetry book 'Nishinda Patar Grhan'. Besides, Poet Mizanur Rahman has been named for 'Jumjuari'.
On the other hand, Mamun Siddique has received for the book titled 'Muktijuddher Ajana Bhasso' in category of liberation war-based novel. Rajib Hasan has been rewarded for 'Haripod O Geliyen'.
Taposh Roy's book 'Ei Besh Atonke Asi' basically highlighted several multidimensional incompatibilities of human life. The book has been rewarded in the category of fictional literature.
Writer Taposh Roy is working at popular online news portal risingbd.com as feature editor. Expressing heartily gratitude to his colleagues, he said, "All types of barriers in professional and personal life can be overcome if the working station supports anyone. A crest, a cheque worth Tk 100,000 and a certificate were handed over to the each winner.
