Tazin Ahmed laid to rest in father’s grave

Entertainment Desk: Popular television actress Tazin Ahmed has been buried at her father's grave in city's Banani graveyard.

She was laid to rest there following a namaz-e-janaza at Gulshan Azad Mosque after Zohr prayers.

Ahsan Habib Nasim, General Secretary of the Actors' Equity Bangladesh, confirmed the news to risingbd.

Tazin died of cardiac arrest at Regent Hospital in Uttara on Monday afternoon.

After, completing her Masters' from Mass Communications and Journalism Department at Dhaka University, Tazin worked in Daily Bhorer Kagoj, Prothom alo and some other newspapers. She was also a columnist in Anondo Bhubon.

Later, she worked as the public relations officer in Mercantile Bank.

Alongside, she was associated with theater group Natyojon.

Recently the popular TV actress had joined a political party named National Democratic Party, headed by Bobby Hajjaj.
