Teletalk launches 4G service

Secretariat Correspondent: State-run mobile operator Teletalk has launched 4G fourth generation (4G) network service.

Teletalk's project director, Rezaul Karim, said Teletalk launched 4G on December 16 commercially.

He said that the service is available in some places of Dhaka right now. Teletalk subscribers will get this internet service from across the country soon. 

“We took initiative to launch 4G commercially in the month of the victory in Dhaka and Chattogram. The service will cover the Chattogram region by next month,” Rezaul Kabir said.

The users of Gulshan, Niketan, Baridhara, Banani, Ramna, Motijheel, Mohammadpur, Dhanmondi, Shyamoli, Farmgate, the University of Dhaka and the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology will get 4G network.

Users have to replace their connection to get the service and can migrate by sending text to 111.
