‘Terrorist’ killed in ‘Bogura gunfight’

Bogura Correspondent: A listed ‘terrorist’ was killed in a ‘gunfight’ with rivals in Sadar upazila on Thursday midnight.

The deceased was identified as Rafid Anam alias Sargo, 25, son of Thanthonia Shaheed Nagar area of Bagura town.

Additional Police Super (media) Sanatan Chakraborty confirmed the matter.
According to police, on information that a ‘gunfight’ between two groups of criminals was going on in the area, a police team went to the spot and found Sargo critically injured.

He was rushed to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital where duty doctors declared him dead.

Sargo has seven cases lodged against him with different police stations including those of murder, extortion and arms dealing.
