'Terrorist' killed in city gunfight

Staff Correspondent: An alleged terrorist was killed in a gunfight with detectives in Badda area of the capital early Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Nurul Islam.

Bachchu Mia, the sub-inspector who is in charge of the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police outpost told risingbd.com Nurul Islam was gunned down during a gunfight with Detective Branch of police this morning. Several bullet wounds were found on the body.

Badda police said locals caught Nurul Islam red handed when he tried to shoot a man named Badsha in Merul Badda on Saturday. He was also wanted in another murder case.
