‘There is no enough preparation to hold DITF in Purbachal’

Economic Correspondent: Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi said that a huge space is needed to hold an international trade fair. There is no such space in Purbachal right now.

The minister said this while visiting free ride service for physically challenged people held at Dhaka International Trade Fair on Sunday.

He said international exhibition would be held in this running year or last phase of this year in Purbachal. All kinds of export oriented products might be displayed there. But, the trade fair will be held in Agargaon as usual. 

“Physically challenged people are not burden now. They returned to the main stream of the society. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her daughter Saima Wazed Putul are working for the betterment of disabled people,” Commerce Minister said.

Bijoy Bhattacharya, Vice -Chairman of the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), DITF's Member Secretary Abdur Rouf, EPB director Md. Jahangir and other attended the function.
