Three accused remanded in Rifat murder case

Barguna Correspondent: A Barguna court has placed three accused, who were arrested in the sensational Rifat Sharif murder case, on remand for different terms.

Barguna Senior Judicial court passed the order around on Friday.

Earlier, Investigation Officer (IO) of the case produced the three accused before the court and sought a 10-day remand for each of them.

After hearing, the court remanded Mohammmad Rasel Chandan and Hassan for seven days while Nazmul for three days.

Earlier, Rifat Sharif’s father Dulal Sharif filed a murder case against 12 people with Barguna Sadar Police Station in this connection on Thursday morning.

Rifat was hacked to death in broad day light on college road in Barguna district town on Wednesday morning.
