Three brothers drown in Keraniganj canal

Staff Correspondent: Three brothers died while they were taking bath in a canal at Keraniganj, the outskirts of the capital, on Friday afternoon.

They were identified as Md Hossain, Md Ibrahim and their cousin Hridoy Hossain.

Police took the bodies to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) morgue for autopsy in the afternoon.

Monirul Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Keraniganj South Police Station, confirmed the news.

Al-Amin, deceased's uncle, told reporters at DMCH that they all three died as they got into the water in the canal adjacent to Hasnabad sand field.
