Three motorcyclists killed in Chattogram road crash

Staff Correspondent, Chattogram: Three motorcyclists were killed in a road accident in Osmanpur area under Mirsarai upazila of the port area on Thursday noon.

The deceased were identified as Arif Hossain, 20, son of Nurul Abchhar, Ismail Hossain, 22, son of Muslimuddin and Mehedi Hasan, 28, son of Shah Alam.

The accident took place when the motorbike riding by the trio hit roadside tree as its driver lost control over the steering, leaving two of them dead on the spot and other critically injured, said doctor Ranjan Kumar Singh who is in charge of Mirsarai upazila health complex.

The injured Mehedi died on the way to hospital, he said.
